If you are in the middle of an office move you will need to make sure the ITS department is aware of this so we can take the appropriate steps to setup your phone in your new office.


The ITS does support web conferencing for faculty and staff. One of the best ways to do web conferencing is via Skype ©. If you need special software or hardware accommodations please let the ITS department know at least a week in advance.


The ITS department can provide faculty/staff with a web cam. Please put in a ticket in advance of a web conferencing event so we can schedule to have a web cam setup for you.

The rooms well suited for web conferencing (or meetings in general) are LA106 and Conference Room A in Madame Cadillac. LA106 features a web conferencing suite by Polycom®. In order to use this equipment please ensure that the party you want to conference with also has web conferencing equipment setup at their location.


Given how widely used LA106 is for meetings and web conferencing it's important that you schedule ahead a time to makes sure the room won't be in use during your meeting time. LA106 also features a document cam which is ideal for projecting documents. To inquire about the availability for LA106 please contact the Administrative Assistant to the VPAA at 313-927-1207.
